Healthy Bowl: Pineapple Cooler

With the weather getting warmer and the days getting longer, nothing sounds better than a wholesomely delicious Healthy Bowl to cool off, unwind and recover.

You guys know I am in love with these little bowls of healthiness, right?
(I think it’s pretty obvious by know — I’ve shared what seems like a million recipes already – hope y’all are not tired of ‘em yet) And because of that, you’ll continue to see Healthy Bowl recipes on my blog! I want you and your family to have different options to choose from, when craving a frozen homemade treat that is super easy, fast and convenient to make (not to mention, very affordable and extremely good for you!)

Today’s Healthy Bowl is made with just two simple, yet flavorful, ingredients: bananas and pineapples.

The pineapple in this recipe really stands out and gives the Healthy Bowl a very tropical flavor, making it refreshing and fun. I decided to top it off with peaches (since Whole Foods had a plethora of them, that looked oh so juicy and ready to eat…so I just couldn’t help myself!) and slivered almonds, but you can top it off with whatever fruit you have on hand or whatever fruit sounds best to you at the moment. I’d recommend going with the tropical theme and using ingredients such as mangoes, fresh coconut flesh, passionflower and even kiwis!

Add some tropical flavor to your life with this delicious recipe, and benefit from all of the wonderful vitamins and minerals these fruits used have to offer. You’ll find it to be very refreshing after a fun and long day under the sun (be sure to use SPF and protect your skin!)
