Paleo Chocolate Bark – A Christmas Special

There are few people in this world who dislike chocolate. My brother is one of them and let me tell you, I’ve never really understood him. I wish I was one of those people who never craved chocolate. It would make my life a lot easier; less money spent and less fat intake. Unfortunately I am not like that, I’m quite the opposite in fact. I ADORE chocolate. I order anything chocolate, whenever possible of course. Chocolate shakes, chocolate cookies, chocolate ice cream, chocolate protein powder, chocolate coffee (mochas!), and the list goes on.

One of my simple pleasures is having plain dark chocolate after a meal. It’s the perfect way to end a meal; it gives it closure, you know? 😉 It provides me with full satisfaction and it calms my cravings.

This lovely Paleo Chocolate Bark recipe is a little treasure for those of you who love dark chocolate. If you’re anything like me, you’ll make this bark last a long time; eating it little by little, making sure you savor and enjoy every little bite.

Its super easy to make! You could slightly modify it and add any of your favorite flavors; substitute the macadamia nuts with other types of nuts, coconut flakes or dried fruits. Have fun with it and let your chocolate-creativity shine!

  1. Looks great! My sweet hubby doesn’t like shredded coconut, but this is too good not to try. I’ll just have to split the amount and only put coconut in one half… hee hee.

What do you think about kosher salt? Could I use it in this?

  2. Hi, I’m super impressed with your site and also by your story. I’d love to chat more and ask your thoughts on my situation (kinda confused with digestion, food, fitness, weight, etc). Would love to chat. Know you are busy, but if you have time or would be able or want to , you can email me with address provided. Either way great blog and I’m so intrigued. The sweet potato hash looks great (that’s how I found your blog….someone had linked that recipe in their post). There is a LOT that looks good, but I def. don’t have your skills 🙂
Plus, I have no food processor…will have to work on that…could a tiny one be okay? Would a small magic bullet be okay for blender (I don’t currently have a blender). Thanks.

    1. Hi Jill! It’s ok to feel confused at the beginning. I am here to help you out, and hopefully I can answer all of your questions. I already sent you an email :). A magic bullet will be ok for a blender, as long as you’re only making a very small serving (for 1 person). A food processor is extremely essential; it would be a wonderful investment to make whenever you get a chance.
