RAW Chocolate & Raspberry Bars

I’ll be sharing a wonderfully rich chocolate treat today. Not only are these RAW Chocolate & Raspberry Bars sweet and chewy…they also keep fresh a long time (you’ll keep them in your freezer the entire time, only taking them out a minute or two before having a bar).

If you’re not too crazy about raspberries, you can easily substitute them with your favorite type of berry. You could even go crazy and sub it with something like shredded coconut! It’s completely up to you. Raspberries worked great for me.

These are one of my all-time favorite desserts. You’ll see why on your first taste.

  1. While those may look tasty, as a diabetic Paleo person, I just think you pronounced a death sentence on me. 🙂 honey, dates, bananas – yep, that ought to create a spike to about 300+. However, I could nibble on the edges. 🙂

  2. Had everything on hand except raspberries, so I used strawberries. Special treat for the kiddos and hubs after dinner. I did taste test (of course) and they are so good. I might play with the berry type and ratio to see if the banana can be hidden more, though I do love a banana. Maybe the raspberries add stronger flavor. Thanks for this. I’ve enjoyed looking through your recipes.

    1. Hi Jennifer! Thanks for the comment. 🙂 So glad to hear you and the family enjoyed my RAW Bars. 🙂 Let me know what else you try and how you like it. XOXO

    1. Hi Scott! No, I’ve never heard of that raw chocolate before. I am actually from Ecuador, so I’d love to give some of my homeland’s products a try. Want to send me a sample?! 😉

  4. I absolutely love this! I make it every week to stop me eating copious amounts of chocolate. I add only 3 tablespoons of honey to cut down on “sugar”.

  5. Think that substituting avocados for the bananas would work? Sometimes the banana taste in recipes overwhelms me…

  6. Tried these today and they didn’t ever set up in the freezer . . . Any suggestions? Thanks so much.

    1. Hello Robin! Can you expand on your comment “they didn;t ever set up in the freezer”? What do you mean by that? I’d love to help guide you on this one as it is a super yummy recipe!
